While Jolie S. had not joined the robotics team, she was there in the VERY beginning our Rookie Team in 2014 attended there first kickoff event. Understanding the value of being a part of a team meant being a part of something that means a lot to people, so she chose to join this year. So, this year she has made the commitment to Team 5234. While hoping to advance to highest level possible, she understands the robotic competitions to be most valuable in seeing everyone enjoying themselves and learning while at it. Her good communication skills with others will certainly be an asset to helping the team build a stronger team. She recently returned from studying abroad in Flanders Belgium and became a member of the YFU (Youth for Understanding) Family. She’s also a member of the women’s science society. She loves being multilingual and speaking/practicing her Dutch and Russian with her friends. One day, she would love to become a translator for NASA or the ESA.
